Colonial Van Moved a Lab 1,800 Miles!

During our latest project, our team was thrilled to be chosen as the moving company to help move a digital lab from Sacramento, CA all the way to Dallas, TX! The lab was a large manufacturer of eye glass lenses, so each piece of machinery required the utmost care and attention to be transported without damage or breakage.

Our staff worked on the machinery breakdown of 25-30 pieces of equipment, including conveyor belts and other components that made up the lab’s assembly line. Once everything was securely packed using our crating and skidding services and the shipments began their 1,800 mile journey to their new destination in Dallas, TX.

Upon arrival, the machines were unloaded using forklifts and specialized gantry services and moved into place within the new lab. From there, we worked to uncrate all components and set them up until the lab was ready to get up-and-running again.
