Colonial Van & Storage at Chalk it Up 2019
Labor Day Weekend – Aug 31 – Sept 2, 2019 Fremont Park 16th & Q Streets
Colonial Van & Storage will help support the community at Chalk it Up is Sacramento this year. Every Labor Day Fremont Park is turned into an explosion of chalk art masterpieces, live music, public art, and community engagement.
The big deal at Chalk it Up is the hundreds of sidewalk chalk paintings. Sponsors and volunteers spend days creating the masterpieces for the show.
Chalk it up also features over 75 arts and crafts booths and 2 dozen food vendors.
Colonial staff member and local artist Melissa Stewart will be participating this year and Colonial has sponsored a full square for her to CHALK UP!
The festival hosts vendors with food, beverages, and crafts, there’s a playground for kids, a stage with live music and acts from local talent and of course, amazing chalk art installations around the whole perimeter of the park!
